Caos y complejidad en las organizaciones

En este trabajo se abordan temas que van desde la ciencia pura hasta las organizaciones, y en particular a la toma de decisiones que ocurre en su interior. También se precisan algunos hitos históricos de la teoría del Caos. Una disciplina puesta en boga recientemente ante el descubrimiento de sistemas dinámicos no lineales que con pocas ecuaciones y el avance del tiempo generan un comportamiento que escapa al orden tradicional establecido por la ciencia.
Por otra parte se acota de una manera marginal la noción de complejidad y las propiedades que presenta un sistema de esta naturaleza. Términos como auto-organización, fractal, limitación y atractor extraño, entre otras, serán las categorías que permitirán desenmarañar los fenómenos generados en los niveles intra e inter organizacional.

this work, topics ranging from pure science to organizations are addressed, in
particular the decision taking process happening within. Some milestones on the
Theory of Chaos are also defined. A discipline recently in vogue in the face of
the discovery of non-linear dynamic systems which, with a few equations and the
progress of time, generate a behavior that escapes the traditional order
established by science.
On
the other hand, the notion of complexity and the properties of a system of this
nature are marginally noted. Terms such as auto-organization, fractal,
limitation and strange attractor, among others, will be the categories that
allow untangling the phenomena generated at intra- and inter-organization
levels.
