Introduction
Over the years, the term "quality" has acquired different definitions, which range from meeting customer needs to delighting them. Recently it has been observed that the primary focus of quality has become to provide service in accordance to the requirements of the client. This focus and conformity to the requirements is due to an agreement with the client which may hide the fact that a customer may probably have multiple needs that are not covered by the organization because it is unable to satisfy them or simply because the client has not requested them.
Innovation sees this opportunity and goes beyond the customer's requirements and finds new ways to solve needs that have not previously been covered. This is achieved by finding and offering the customer, new ways that enable them to perform tasks easier, faster or more conveniently.
